At Lafayette Regional School our use of technology has one objective: to enhance learning. Our school community will embrace students with opportunities to grow their 21st century skills of communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creativity as well as develop their core academic foundation in reading, language arts, math, science, and social studies. (The teacher will serve as a guide and a model in this process. The students will be engaged in creative work that takes advantage of the power of technology.) The merger of 21st century skills and core academics is a vital connection which encourages students and staff to be life-long learners who creatively explore and contribute knowledge in an ever changing world.
Philosophy of Education
We encourage self-growth through developmentally appropriate programs in both curricular and co-curricular enrichment activities that emphasize:
We believe that staff, families, and the larger community are partners in supporting all facets of our students' educational growth.
